The Senior Program Manager at Caterpillar Inc. will lead high-visibility Earthmoving manufacturing operations strategic projects, driving process improvements across various departments. This role requires strong project planning, organizational skills, and the ability to present to high-level management. The ideal candidate will have experience as an NPI Leader, Supply Chain Leader, or Operations Leader and will work closely with Global Facility managers on continuous improvement plans.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead Earthmoving manufacturing operations strategic projects with high-level management visibility.
  • Engage across the matrix organization to drive process improvements in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Safety.
  • Align closely with Global Facility managers on continuous improvement plans.
  • Organize and coordinate processes and procedures for all project teams within the program.
  • Serve as a liaison and build bridges among project teams, translating corporate objectives into program objectives and practices.
  • Plan and monitor program development, timelines, and budget to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Manage all aspects of the organizational program to ensure projects are implemented, accepted, and accomplished within set deadlines while meeting safety, quality, and cost goals.

What You Have (Basic Qualifications):

  • Degree/Experience: bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical or business curriculum OR varied experience in supply chain management, purchasing, engineering, New Product Introduction/Development, or operations.
  • Experience as an NPI Leader, Supply Chain Leader, or Operations Leader: Proven track record in leadership roles within New Product Introduction (NPI), Supply Chain, or Operations.
  • Program Management: Extensive experience in managing complex programs, including planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strong Project Planning and Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects effectively to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.

Additional Info:                              

  • Domestic travel ~10 - 25% is expected.
  • Domestic relocation is available to those who qualify.
