Strategic Procurement Account Lead

HP Indigo is looking for a Strategic Procurement Account Lead to join our team.

The Account Lead acts as the single point of accountability for supplier performance across multiple product lines.

The role is responsible for the end-to-end commercial, operational, and strategic management of key Contract Manufacturing suppliers, ensuring alignment with business, product, and manufacturing strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong technical understanding of mechanical products and manufacturing processes, along with proven experience managing suppliers in complex, multidisciplinary organizations.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Supplier Ownership – Own the overall relationship with the supplier, including governance, business reviews, performance management, and long-term alignment.
• Assurance of Supply & Execution – Ensure reliable material and build availability, monitor delivery KPIs, and proactively manage supply risks.
• Commercial & Cost Management – Lead pricing negotiations, cost roadmaps, continuous improvement (CI/CR) initiatives, and commercial agreements.
• PO, Systems & Data Accuracy – Execute and manage POs and GRs while ensuring pricing and master data accuracy.
• Supplier Performance & Capacity Management – Drive supplier performance against KPIs and manage capacity, flexibility, and readiness to support changing business demands.
• Change, Lifecycle & Risk Management – Manage ECO implementation, lead time improvements, product lifecycle changes, and EOL events.
• Contract & Exposure Management – Lead supplier contract activities in collaboration with Legal.
• Sourcing & Business Continuity – Support sourcing decisions, dual-source strategies, and business continuity planning across operational, financial, and geopolitical risks.
• Invoice & Commercial Escalations – Resolve commercial and invoicing issues while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Technical Supplier Management – Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to support sourcing decisions for mechanical components and ensure suppliers meet technical, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
   

Required Experience & Education

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Procurement, Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing, Account Management, or Contract Manufacturing management.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or practical diploma in Mechanical/ Industrial/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Technical Procurement Background: Proven experience sourcing and managing technical commodities/components in a manufacturing environment- Must
  Technical background in NPI and electrical systems/components- An advantage.
• Industry Experience: Experience working in complex multidisciplinary global organizations.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Solid understanding of procurement and end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
