Project Role Description : Provide consultative Business and System Integration services to help clients implement effective solutions. Understand and translate customer needs into business and technology solutions. Drive discussions and consult on transformation, the customer journey, functional/application designs and ensure technology and business solutions represent business requirements.

Summary:
The SAP S/4HANA Pre-Study Consultant – Intercompany leads the assessment, blueprinting, and future-state design of intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes, including ICMR, within S/4HANA. The role evaluates current operations across AR/AP, GL, cross-company transactions, and IC stock flows, identifies gaps, and defines optimized, standardized architecture aligned with S/4 best practices and financial close requirements. It partners closely with Finance, Group Reporting, and Shared Services to establish a clear roadmap for S/4HANA transformation.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct AS-IS assessment of intercompany AR/AP, GL, IC sales, stock transfers, reconciliation issues, and manual interventions.
- Define TO-BE intercompany architecture in S/4HANA, covering AR/AP reconciliation, GL reconciliation, cross-company postings, and margin analysis.
- Lead ICMR design, including reconciliation methods, selection criteria, matching rules, tolerance limits, workflow design, automated clearing, and integration with Group Reporting/Central Finance.
- Define data harmonization and reporting strategy, including Trading Partner consistency, IC master data alignment, and KPIs for reconciliation performance.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, prepare fit-gap analyses, solution design documents, configuration blueprints, and implementation roadmaps.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- 8+ years SAP FI/CO experience, with strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, cross-company postings, document splitting, and financial close processes.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (2020+) and Intercompany Matching & Reconciliation (ICMR) understanding of Group Reporting and consolidation.
- Technical awareness of CDS views, embedded analytics, SAP workflows, and optional SAP BTP/Integration Suite.
- Strong skills in workshop facilitation, process mapping, global stakeholder management, and documentation.
- Additional advantages: Central Finance exposure, multi-country rollout experience, IC tax knowledge, and hybrid/on-prem S/4HANA experience.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP FI CO Finance.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
