We are streamlining OMT project management to better support the fast paced DID transfer, new technology, site expansion and startup in a rapidly evolving memory industry worldwide. There’s strong need to better coordinate the resources to support those key initiatives, and to enable worldwide projects across US, Japan, India, and others.  

 

We are seeking a  Project Manager OMT Planning team who is highly organized, detail oriented, and a great communicator. You will be responsible for coordinating critical OMT projects relating to tech-node transfer and site expansion construction to ensure that the multi-disciplinary teams building the project work together and to meet business targets, ensure timelines and within budgets. PMO will be looking forward to your talent to join the OMT/PMO to accelerate the transformation. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Managing projects from kickoff to finish 

  • Understanding business plan, project scope and objectives with clearly defined goals, level set the expectations for executive and working team members, and translate their requests/feedback into actionable tasks 

  • Manage and guide the cross-function team (IE/Planning, Facility, Construction, A&T, IT, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Tax, Legal, Government Affairs etc...), set the direction for flawless execution, ensure resource available, ensure delivery on –time and within budget, and be the trusted advisors to executive sponsors 

  • Clarify project schedule, L1/L2 timeline, monitor the progress, ensure project deadlines and deliverables on critical milestones​, and manage thorough documentation / SharePoint 

  • Track and manage changes in project scope, and the impact on schedule and costs 

  • Report and escalate as necessary and minimize project risk exposure 

  • Evaluate project performance KPI, strong solution mindset and solving problems on the rise, risk management and escalation as needed 

  • Be a great communicator, presenting to executive and senior leaders on project progress, budget control, issues & escalation, problems & solution. 

 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor and/or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field. Secondary education or equivalent in business and/or management preferred. 

  • Fab IE planning and site construction engineering is a plus 

  • Well versed on how to build project plans, team communication, optimize timelines and hit the ground running with minimal handholding. 

  • Strong verbal and written in English and be able to manage teams across multiple geographies. 

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. 

  • Experienced in supervising and mentoring different types of team members at different levels of experience and abilities. 

  • Hands-on, self-driven, highly motivated, team-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset. 

  • Fast learner with a passion for processes and multi-tasking.
