About the Team

At Flowise, our team is dedicated to simplifying the creation of AI solutions. Our low-code platform makes it easy to build powerful chatbots and autonomous agents. By abstracting complex frameworks into intuitive visual components, we enable users to create sophisticated AI workflows without extensive coding knowledge.

With Workday's recent acquisition, we will provide customers with an easy-to-use platform to quickly and responsibly build and deploy AI agents for HR and finance. This partnership also empowers partners to build faster, expand their offerings, and deliver quicker value to shared customers.

About the Role

We are growing and looking for a Manager of Software Development Engineering to join our team. In this role, you'll bring together and mentor a team of talented engineers with various backgrounds and skills. You'll collaborate closely with Product and Design to maintain and expand our solutions. Your leadership will be vital in achieving our ambitious goal of delivering outstanding AI at scale.

  • Collaborate extensively: Partner with engineering, data science, product management, and design teams to bring our vision, strategy, and roadmap to life.

  • Empower your team: Provide engineers with the support, resources, and constructive feedback they need to thrive and grow professionally.

About You

We’re looking for talented people who enjoy a fast-paced environment, want to ship customer value early and often, and make an impact with groundbreaking ideas.  The right candidate for this role is a problem solver first and foremost - they should enjoy solving challenging problems, coming up with creative solutions, and guiding and instructing their counterparts and teammates about how to leverage their solutions. They bring a sense of urgency, a bias for action, and are outcome driven. 

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in software engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in management roles

Other Qualifications 

  • Extensive experience in building and operating products at scale (AWS, Node, Typescript ecosystem preferred)

  • Advanced knowledge of modern software development practices (devops, automated testing, observability, etc)

  • Full-stack generalist able to and interested in helping your team achieve its goals, including hands-on contributions (not an ongoing expectation, but may be necessary during early team assembly)

  • Successful track record of leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, agile environments

  • Highly effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively 

  • Eager to work openly and collaboratively with a diverse team

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity to turn hard problems into clear and compelling solutions through reasoning and research



 


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
