Location: University of Oklahoma Medical Center
Shift: Full-Time 40hrs/week- 4 10's M-F w/call after hrs and weekends 7a-5:30p
At OU Health, you’ll work with a multidisciplinary team of experienced general and interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, imaging specialists and other health professionals who hold the skills and experience to accurately diagnose a wide range of heart-related problems in people of all ages, from premature infants to adults. Through Oklahoma’s first and most comprehensive program of its kind, as part of the OU Health heart care team you will be apart of minimally invasive (interventional) techniques for coronary artery disease (CAD), structural heart conditions and peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
Experience: May require completion of orientation and ability to function independently in assigned specialty area prior to being assigned to this position.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. ACLS (American Heart Association) required within 3 months of hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. Some computer skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team providing excellent specialized care.
