About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team and play a key role in driving new customer acquisition on the Aucto Marketplace, while providing exceptional customer service and support to existing customers. Reporting into the Marketing Manager, this individual will be responsible for developing new business through outbound customer prospecting and outreach. You will also be instrumental in building strong customer relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role is highly collaborative, you will interact regularly with marketing, sales, account management and operations teams. 

This is a new role at Aucto and we are looking for someone who is relentlessly about great customer service and excited to execute and grow this business. We want someone who is passionate about building their own processes and can take ownership in their work to drive impact and meet measurable goals. Ideal candidates will thrive on the opportunity to test and build out an ever evolving role where they can have a profound impact on how our customers, and prospects interact with our company. 

What you’ll do 

  • Develop and execute an effective and scalable outbound program with targeted outreach campaigns to generate new buyer leads and convert them into Aucto customers
  • Identify and build out creative channels to connect with prospective customers by representing Aucto at tradeshows and in-person events
  • Master the Aucto buyer value proposition and work with leadership to refine a message that resonates with customers and build out materials
  • Provide exceptional white glove customer service to our elite “Power Buyers” in order to build and develop these key relationships
  • Track key metrics, analyze data, and become an internal expert on customer trends to help identify and improve campaigns and company performance
  • Liaise with our Operations, Buyer Support and the Account Management teams to ensure we are delivering a best in class shopping experience on our marketplace

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience. Bonus points for B2B sales or experience in the industrial or manufacturing space
  • Experience at a fast growing startup strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter attitude and the willingness to "roll up your sleeves"
  • Strong objection handling skills and persistence
  • Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce preferred), Google Workplace Suite, & MS Office Suite
  • Passion for environmental causes and for building a business from the ground up!

The Interview Process:

  1. Introductory Call - 30 minutes
  2. Role Specific In-depth - 30 minutes
  3. Take Home + Presentation - Take as long as you need to prepare then do a 40 minute presentation
  4. Virtual Onsite - About 2 hours, depending on how many questions you ask! We believe a key part of the interview process is you getting to know us and deciding whether we are a fit for you - to facilitate this we arrange 2 group interviews during this step with a mix of people from different departments.
