Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is looking for a Estimating and Pricing Specialist (Experienced OR Senior) in Everett, WA. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Derivatives Aircraft (CDA) Estimating and Pricing team to oversee the development of high value estimates from highly complex or unique technical requirements through the design, build and support stages of commercial derivative programs. The primary responsibility of the role will be to provide on-site support to Boeing Commercial Aircraft (BCA) technical teams through business case development and program consultation.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Leads and consults high complexity, high value business proposals
  • Consults compliance efforts and policy and procedure development
  • Prepares appropriate material to support and/or conduct internal and external audits
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations based on complex requests for proposal, substantiates estimates and pricing, and assembles price proposals
  • Develops and leads unique/complex processes to ensure first pass quality across proposal stakeholders
  • Devises long term data analytics strategy while performing analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. Currently 4 days a week onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables
  • Experience developing business case analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure accuracy when analyzing and verifying technical data
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with external customers and across multiple functions including Finance, Contracts, and technical disciplines
  • Ability to proactively apply problem solving skills
  • Works well independently, and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with time management skills to meet tight schedules with first time quality
  • Ability to learn new systems & tools, estimating techniques, and gain program knowledge in a dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with commercial and/or government estimating

Typical Education/Experience: 

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range:                                        

Experienced (Level 3) $90,100 – $121,900                                               

Senior (Level 4) $113,900 – $154,100
