What are we looking for?

We are a dedicated platform team focused on providing essential services to support the success of other developer teams and we are looking for Staff Software Engineer that will be passionate and help us to drive and deliver high-quality products. Our primary customers are fellow developers who rely on our key services, such as identity and user management, metering, and license management. We play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of these critical components, ultimately empowering our users to achieve their goals seamlessly.

What will you do?

  • Collaborating across teams to shape the system requirements in the strategic way.
  • Being accountable for features from requirements refinement phase to the successful production deployment.
  • Building a secure and scalable backend for our platform serving other development teams as a backbone.
  • Development with efficiency, ensuring backend reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
  • Providing constructive feedback in code reviews for continuous improvements.
  • Swiftly troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

Your stack: Java, Spring framework family (boot, web, web-flux, cloud), Gradle, Jooq; Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes, Terraform/Terragrunt, AWS, GCP; GithubActions, ArgoCD; Postgres, Grafana

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • Several years of experience in designing services and developing features using Java.
  • Proven knowledge in designing and architecting large and scalable cloud-based applications, and developing on public cloud infrastructure (we use AWS & GCP).
  • Strong familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Exceptional drive, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Python or Go is a plus (we interact with other teams and older pieces of SW in Python and Go).
