Job Description Summary:
The Precision Medicine Pharmacy Coordinator plays a key role in optimizing medication therapy for patients by guiding genomic/molecular testing for patients. They collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized medication plans, interpret pharmacogenomic test results, and educate patients on the implications for their treatment. This position assists with the planning and implementation of operational and clinical initiatives related to precision medicine. Direct involvement in continuous quality improvement, regulatory compliance, safety plan management and daily operations management is required. The Precision Medicine Pharmacy Coordinator also serves as the liaison with external pharmacogenomic testing companies and provides recommendations to providers to optimize testing and services options and practices. The coordinator also practices in an oncology ambulatory clinic one day a week.Responsibilities And Duties:
