Job Description

Position Summary: Support meeting room operations and event setup across a 3-building campus, ensuring seamless audiovisual functionality and optimal room configurations for client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Meeting Room Management

  • Conduct daily and weekly meeting room inspections, documenting results via mobile device
  • Print and post daily meeting room schedules
  • Maintain accurate AV asset inventory database with equipment locations and ID numbers

Event Setup and Support

  • Configure meeting spaces by moving, setting up, and arranging tables and chairs according to daily requirements
  • Transport and install portable AV equipment across campus buildings
  • Execute setup and breakdown for special events, including tables, chairs, linens, skirting, AV equipment, and cabling

Team Collaboration and Safety

  • Follow supervisor direction and maintain clear communication with team members and clients
  • Adhere to all departmental safety policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and frequently walk between buildings, including stairs
  • Proficiency with computer equipment and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in banquet setup, AV support, or meeting room operations
  • AV training or certification
  • Experience in fast-paced, client-focused environments
