What You Will Do:

The Customer Support Specialist will serve as a point of contact for all customer issues on a variety of Windrock products. This position will provide technical phone, internet, and email support.  

  • Provide technical assistance to customers for Windrock’s product line
  • Provide remote customer support for troubleshooting issues on all Windrock’s product line
  • Maintain detailed records of customer complaints and provide reports to management on customer issues
  • Interface with repair and engineering personnel regarding customer issues
  • Assist in the testing and inspection of repaired equipment
  • Applies developing technology knowledge of reciprocating engine and compressor principles and practices to assigned tasks
  • Contributes to a work group, works well with other engineering and technical team members
  • Contribute to the departments continuous improvement culture
  • Articulate value story, technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
  • Maintain expert level of product and application knowledge with regard to automation products
  • Work safely and conduct business at all times in accordance with the ChampionX Code of Conduct
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • 2 year technical degree or equivalent experience in the oil and gas industry
  • 1 year experience in the reciprocating/rotating equipment segment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent time management
  • Excellent communication skills that convey conviction and depth in our value proposition
  • Desire to drive change and evangelize new technologies
  • Passion for post-sales customer success
  • Team collaborator with strong work ethic and ability to enthusiastically represent the company.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Oil and Gas industry

Physical Demands

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers, to pick, feel and/or inspect material. Employee would also reach with hands and arms as needed.
  • Some work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
  • Work normally is executed in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
  • Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
