Senior Product Manager – DCL Crew Technology
About the Role:
The Senior Product Manager for DCL Crew Technology is a senior individual contributor responsible for owning complex product domains that support Crew Members, shipboard leadership, and shoreside partners throughout the Crew lifecycle. This role drives product strategy, discovery, and delivery while partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, HR, and Technology teams to deliver scalable, user-centered solutions aligned with Disney Cruise Line business objectives.
Reporting to the Manager of Crew Technology Products, the Senior Product Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy and strategic influence, serving as a key contributor to the execution of the broader Crew Technology vision established by Product Management leadership.
Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for owning and advancing product roadmaps for assigned Crew Technology domains, ensuring alignment with broader Crew Technology strategic goals and Disney Cruise Line experience strategies. The Senior Product Manager leads discovery and consultation efforts to understand business needs, operational challenges, and user pain points, translating those insights into clear product requirements and prioritized backlogs. Working closely with Software Engineering, Technical Project Management, and Business partners, this role drives end-to-end delivery—from ideation and requirements definition through development, testing, launch, and iteration—while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs. The Senior Product Manager collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders including HR, Operations, IT, Legal, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and adoption of solutions, and supports change management, communication, and training efforts across the fleet.

Builds trusted relationships through clear, effective communication with technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Articulates product priorities, vision, and tradeoffs to drive alignment and collaboration across teams.
Consultation & Business Requirements Collection
Leads structured consultation to understand business and operational needs across the Crew lifecycle. Synthesizes input into clear, actionable product requirements aligned to business objectives and user needs.
Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking
Applies strong business and operational understanding to inform product decisions. Balances nearterm delivery with longterm platform sustainability and alignment to Crew Technology and organizational goals.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrates solid technical product management expertise and understanding of Agile delivery practices. Partners effectively with Engineering to evaluate feasibility, complexity, and technical tradeoffs.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field / equivalent work experience
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Experience delivering complex technology products in matrixed environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements definition skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with workforce, HR, or operational platforms.
• Familiarity with travel, hospitality, or regulated environments.
• Understanding of Disney values and business segments.
