Summary: As a Technology Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for creating production and non-production cloud environments using the proper software tools. Your role will involve deploying the automation pipeline and automating environment creation and configuration. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the platform for the project or product. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions. - Manage and monitor cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. - Implement security measures to protect cloud environments from potential threats. - Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and scalability. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing. - Assist in the evaluation and selection of cloud service providers. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. - Document and maintain technical documentation related to cloud environments. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with AWS Administration. - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles. - Experience in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash or Python. - Understanding of networking concepts and protocols. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux-based systems. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration. - This position is based at our Coimbatore office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
