About the Role

Responsible for providing application development and support services to meet AIA's business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Regular BAU support

  • System health checking, user acceptance testing, production environment, including database.
  • Daily/monthly Production Batch cycle monitoring on functional results and performance checking, and conducting a quick fix for incidents, if any.
  • Production server performance report and trend analysis, based on information provided by Technical Solution Services team from SS HK.
  • Monthly report about environment health status, PIR status and BAU enhancement progress.
  • Be the IT Application owner incl.ownership of all Azure and other technology resources (AD Groups, PIDs, etc)

Build and maintain modern data pipelines that make data available and accessible to the global company

  • Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes for our data.
  • Solving and supporting build, test, and deployment incidents if they happen
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and processes.
  • Supervise and resolve operational issues related to infrastructure and data pipelines

Handling of ad-hoc request including:

  • User query on mapping table/suspense records/policy extraction/User acceptance test cycle/New Product Launch.
  • Compliance review.
  • Disaster recovery drill.
  • Document/process updates.
  • System improvement for new requirements, system defects and system software upgrade

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science and demonstrated ability in data engineering, Azure cloud and power platform
  • 2 years experience in architecting data solutions on Azure cloud platform and experience in software development
  • A proven experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and solid grasp of Tableau administration/architecture.
  • Proficiency in big data, analytics, database management, event driven, microservices, DevOps and/or machine learning operation in Azure cloud
  • Experience with complex Data warehouse, data modelling, ETL design, and using large databases in a business environment
  • Experience with Azure, Databricks ,PySpark and Spark SQL
  • Experience with Tableau desktop and tableau server admin
  • Good knowledge of azure resources standard processes, have critical thinking on quality software / product
