Role overview:
The Platform Manager for Vulnerability Management is a high impact cybersecurity professional responsible for driving the operational excellence of the organization’s enterprise vulnerability management ecosystem. This role owns the platforms and integrations that enable proactive identification, assessment, prioritization, and remediation of vulnerabilities across complex, global environments.
With deep technical expertise and strategic thinking, the Vulnerability Management Platform Manager is accountable for the architecture, integration, and reliable operation of the vulnerability management platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise security objectives, regulatory expectations, and evolving threat landscapes.
This function sits at the center of enterprise cyber defense—empowering teams, strengthening resilience, and ensuring visibility and control across all technology layers (infrastructure, cloud, applications, endpoints, and security tools).
You are responsible for:
Lead the end‑to‑end management of the enterprise Vulnerability Management platform(s), such as Qualys, Wiz, or equivalent tools.
Implement and maintain asset discovery, continuous scanning, and attack surface visibility across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Ensure integration of the VM platform with:
ServiceNow
Microsoft Security Suite
SIEM/SOAR (e.g., Splunk)
IAM (e.g., SailPoint)
Privilege Management platforms (e.g., BeyondTrust)
EDR solutions
CMDB and asset inventory systems
Build robust vulnerability pipelines.
Support and oversee the deployment, integration, and ongoing maintenance of cybersecurity tools across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with strategic security objectives.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cloud, engineering, architecture, and risk teams.
Participate in solution design reviews, tool validation, and release planning, ensuring adherence to internal quality and security standards.
Collaborate with exposure management, business engagement teams and other key stakeholders.
Engage with 3rd‑party vendors, tool providers, and managed service partners to ensure high performance and timely delivery.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in designing, supporting, and developing VM solutions, with a strong focus on Qualys
Proficiency in ServiceNow Microsoft ecosystems is an advantage.
Strong understanding of cloud workload scanning (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience with API‑based integrations, scripting (PowerShell/Python), and automation benchmarks is a plus.
Previous experience working within a large multinational company deploying information security capabilities
Experience working and managing activities of 3rd parties that have been contracted to deliver information security capabilities
Relevant Certifications in cybersecurity.
Hands-on experience with tool validation, release management, and secure configuration practices.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ITIL, and CIS
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
AI affinity and innovation mindset – Demonstrated interest and experience in leveraging AI‑driven solutions, analytics, and automation to improve security effectiveness and decision‑making.
Desire to constantly learn, improve, and drive results
Fluency in English
