Job Summary :
To serve patients, visitors and associates through prompt, courteous and effective collection of cash receipts as well as being a customer relations ambassador for the Business Office.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Opens and sorts mail distributing it to the proper associates and endorsing checks for payments received.
2. Post cash receipts, discounts, co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles accurately and timely for payments received.
3. Greets Business Office customers and assists them in directing them to the proper associate to address their need.
4. Accepts over-the-counter payments from our customers.
5. Reconciles daily cash received with posted receipts and resolves discrepancies.
6. Meets hospital mandatory minimum performance standards.

Education and Experience Required:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with special emphasis on office skills being preferred.
