The Opportunity
HK Retirement Business Proposition team is a newly transformed team, expanding the scope from strategic planning, formulation and reporting on business proposition to also cover initiatives execution and Change Management. The team is responsible for analyzing the pension industry/competitor trends, working with Global Strategy team to align on appropriate business strategies, as well as with cross-functional/geographical teams to formulate execution roadmap and facilitate changes across internal and external stakeholders. With the headwinds in earnings and significant changes brought by eMPF, HK Retirement Business is working closely with Asia/Global management teams to plan and execute various management actions to effectively close the earnings gap, and also to manage changes to support the effective running of the business. As such, it is foreseeable the need / demand of business proposition and change management would increase as Manulife onboards to eMPF.
With the extensive scope of work required, resource is running short with only one team head and one supporting staff currently in the team. The requested headcount (AM/M) is expected to be responsible for up-to-date analysis of industry/competitor moves and trends, supporting strategic reporting of all the initiatives to local, asia and global management, preparation of materials for management on various business propositions, and work with key stakeholders to drive/monitor/track initiatives progress.
Position Responsibilities:
• Assist in the analysis and modeling of retirement plans and pension schemes.
• Support data management and reporting activities.
• Assist in developing presentation decks and scripts for conferences and events for senior leaders.
• Support market research and data analysis on new market potential and the preparation of business cases.
Required Qualifications:
• Pursuing a degree in a related field (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Economics)
• Previous internship experience in asset management company • Experience with Microsoft Office
