The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Manager is to oversee daily work flow in the warehouse using established procedures to achieve optimum efficiency and accuracy. This includes, but is not limited to, inventory control, employee leadership, and safety and security. This position is located in Mississauga, ON.
Manages day-to-day warehouse operations with a focus on efficiency and accomplishing daily shipment tasks and goals
Manages, directs, and trains warehouse employees
Provides effective and regular communication to warehouse employees including goals, opportunities for improvement, and key focus areas
Assists with warehouse employee hiring, disciplinary measures, and termination
Maintains stringent inventory and shipping accuracy
Handles organizing, labeling, packaging and shipping products
Receives products and stocks shelves
Monitors inventory
Prepares shipments
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
Complies with procedures, rules, and regulations
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Manages opening and closing of the building and associated responsibilities
Assists Operations Team with all operation endeavors including ordering, managing email accounts, organizing and reconciling invoices and payments, customer service opportunities, shipment reconciliations, managing unfulfillable inventory, etc.
