Job Description

 

Your role as an Executive, People Solutions:

You will work closely with the business leaders and Senior HRBP to provide comprehensive support to assigned business units or departments. This role will act as a point of contact for employees and managers on a range of people-related matters, contributing to the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with AirAsia's overall business goals and culture.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

  • Assist in resolving basic employee relations issues, escalating complex matters to senior HRBPs as needed.

  • Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and activities.

  • Assist with grievance handling and disciplinary processes under the guidance of senior HRBPs.

Performance Management:

  • Support the implementation of the performance management cycle, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback processes.

  • Assist managers and employees in understanding and utilizing performance management tools and processes.

  • Provide administrative support for performance improvement plans.

HR Administration & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.

  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and data analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.

  • Support HR audits and compliance checks.

HR Projects & Initiatives:

  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned by Senior HRBPs.

  • Provide support in the implementation of new HR programs and policies.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the HR function.

Business Partnering:

  • Develop a basic understanding of the assigned business units' objectives and challenges.

  • Build effective working relationships with employees and managers within assigned areas.

  • Provide general HR guidance and support to business stakeholders.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Fresh graduate or up to 1-2 years of experience in a generalist HR role or HR internship.

  • Basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and local labor laws.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.  

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite would be appreciated.

  • Experience with HRIS systems is an advantage.
