The candidate will have the opportunity to perform development, maintenance, and enhancements of Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining forms, tasks, reports, business rules, outlines, calculation and reporting scripts, load rules, batch scripts, security, managing meta-data/core data loads and validation while supporting the Tier III Help Desk for the program's budget formulation/planning application.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform coding and/or configuration changes to enhance and maintain the existing Oracle EPM Hyperion applications, including Planning, Essbase (BSO and ASO), SmartView, Hyperion Financial reports

  • Designs, develops, implements, documents, and tests changes to the Oracle EPM Hyperion platform.

  • Provide technical support, including the analysis, design, development and implementation of system enhancements and bug fixes.

  • Responsible for creating well-designed scripts, forms, reports, formulas, variables, mappings, hierarchies, and other system components.

  • Responsible for daily maintenance and operations of Planning and Essbase which includes batch, integration, and scripting

  • Responsible for the creation, modification, and execution of test plans and scripts

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documents and knowledge articles related to the support of the client's business systems

  • Respond to and resolve Tier III level trouble tickets for end user issues. This includes communicating with end users to obtain the information necessary to resolve their issues, updating the ticket to document actions performed, resolving the end user's issue, and updating the Remedy ticket with the resolution within prescribed Service Levels.


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional or technical experience

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

  • 7+ years of experience with EPM (On-Prem) 11.2.x or higher including Planning, Essbase, Financial Reporting, Calc Manager EPMA, EAS and Provider Services

  • Expertise in troubleshooting, log analysis, performance tuning, disaster recovery and backup/restore processes

  • A strong working knowledge and point of view on the evolving concepts and practices for EPM.

  • Experience working within an environment with contractual ticket response and resolution times.

  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work virtually including reliable internet and telephony access.


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Strong functional knowledge around Navy Working Capital budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Knowledge or understanding of programming/scripting languages (SQL, PL/SQL, XML, etc.)

  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts

  • Experience with Remedy ticketing system (v20.02 preferred)

  • Team player with the ability to adjust to a dynamic working environment

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
