Job scope
The strategic function is to create and manage long-term relationships with customers. Account professionals work as trusted advisors to shape solutions and solve our customers' most critical business problems. Members of this job family are accountable for overall profitable growth and exceptional delivery for all Financial Service customer in Switzerland.
Role Purpose
Own and drive the Financial Services business in Switzerland with full accountability for growth, profitability, and strategic client impact, with a particular focus on UBS as a flagship account.
Act as the senior executive face to the client, shaping transformation agendas and ensuring delivery excellence in a highly regulated environment.
Enhanced Job Scope
Full P&L ownership for the Financial Services cluster in Switzerland (revenue, margin, growth, cost discipline)
Lead and orchestrate end-to-end client engagement across consulting, engineering, and operations
Position DXC as a strategic transformation partner, not just a service provider
Drive “Run + Transform” agenda across Swiss banking and insurance clients
Ensure regulatory-grade execution (FINMA, DORA relevance, outsourcing regulations, data sovereignty)
Responsibilities:
1. Client Leadership & UBS Ownership
Act as Executive Client Partner for UBS, owning the full relationship across business, IT, and procurement stakeholders
Build C-level trust (CIO, CTO, COO, CRO) and position DXC as a long-term strategic partner
Define and drive a multi-year account strategy aligned with UBS transformation priorities (cost efficiency, platform modernization, AI, resilience)
Lead large deal shaping and negotiation, including renewals, expansions, and transformation programs
Ensure delivery excellence and client satisfaction (NPS, SLA/KPI adherence, risk mitigation)
2. Growth & Business Development
Own book-to-bill >1 and sustainable revenue growth across Switzerland
Identify and drive new logo acquisition (where relevant) and expansion in existing accounts
Develop pipeline for FY+1 / FY+2, with focus on:
Core banking & platform modernization
Data & AI industrialization
Cloud & infrastructure transformation (incl. hybrid strategies)
Automation & cost optimization
Leverage ecosystem partnerships (e.g. hyperscalers, platform vendors) to unlock growth
3. Delivery & Operational Excellence
Ensure seamless collaboration between sales, delivery, and consulting
Drive execution certainty in regulated environments
Proactively manage risks, escalations, and financial performance
Optimize delivery footprint (onshore/offshore mix) in line with regulatory constraints
Champion quality, compliance, and audit readiness
4. Leadership & Team Development
Lead and develop Account Executives, Client Partners, and Delivery Leaders in Switzerland
Build a high-performance culture with clear accountability and ownership
Coach teams on value selling, executive communication, and deal shaping
Foster collaboration across DXC and Luxoft (“One FSI”)
5. Market Positioning & Thought Leadership
Represent DXC in the Swiss Financial Services market
Build executive relationships across the industry (clients, regulators, partners)
Contribute to thought leadership (e.g. AI in banking, regulatory transformation, digital resilience)
Position DXC as a trusted advisor in business & technology reinvention
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years experience in Financial Services / IT Services, including senior account or P&L leadership roles
Proven track record managing large strategic accounts (ideally Tier 1 banks like UBS)
Strong experience in regulated environments (banking, insurance, capital markets)
Demonstrated success in driving growth, large deals, and turnaround situations
Excellent stakeholder management at C-level
Strong commercial acumen (pricing, contracts, margin management)
Deep understanding of Swiss regulatory environment (FINMA)
Fluent in English (German is a strong plus)
