What You'll Do
To maximize the potential of operations, performance, quality, and service of the Freeman Hearts program by consolidation and integration of all Freeman Hearts’ services and staff into one service line with alignment of purpose under the administrative leadership of a Service Line Director dedicated to the success of Freeman Hearts.

Essential Functions

  • Provides oversight, administration, and direction of Freeman Hearts business operations

  • Fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork

  • Works with the Freeman marketing department to develop an annual marketing plan for Freeman Hearts and provide direction for Freeman Hearts marketing efforts

  • Provides the necessary leadership to enable the Freeman Hearts program to achieve their annual established goals

  • Works with Freemen financial and budget staff and Freeman Hearts Service Line Clinical Director to develop the annual budget(s) for the Freeman Hearts Program(s).

  • Works with Freeman Compliance staff and the Freeman Hearts Service Line Clinical Director to assure that all Freeman Hearts medical, clinical, and business operations are in compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements

  • Works with Freeman Human Resources staff and Freeman Hearts Service Line Clinical Director to effectively manage Freeman Hearts personnel, personnel evaluations, and personnel issues

  • Works with the Freeman Director of Facilities and Chief Clinical Officer as needed to assure that Freeman Hearts facilities are clean, in good repair, and are adequate to provide the necessary services in a safe ,efficient, and attractive environment

  • Works with the Freeman Chief Quality Officer, System Quality Improvement staff, and Director of Service Excellence, to assure that Freeman Hearts patients receive exceptional quality care an service

  • Works with the Freeman Information Technology staff as needed in development, education, implementation, and utilization of information technology in Freeman Hearts

  • Works with the Freeman Business Development staff to maintain and strengthen existing relationships between Freeman Hearts programs and other health care providers and facilities, and identify and develop new business opportunities

  • Works closely with the Freeman Hearts medical directors, cardiac service line clinical director, office administrators, and other system leaders to assure that all Freeman Hearts patients are receiving the highest possible quality medical care and service and are operating in compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.

  • Works with the Chief Clinical Officer, Freeman Hearts Service Line Clinical Director and Medical Directors to develop annual Freeman Hearts goals and metrics in alignment with system established goals and metrics.

  • Directly supervises Hearts Service Line advanced practice staff in coordination and communication with collaborating physicians.

Required Special Knowledge
Understand, interpret, and implement compliance strategies for pertinent legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Must have a work history of a minimum of 5 years in a healthcare business or administrative role

  • Master's degree in Business/Healthcare Administration preferred
