Summary: We are seeking an experienced PlainID Security Specialist to join our IAM team. As a Security Lead, you will define and implement enterprise authorization frameworks and architecture using PlainID and PBAC, ensuring alignment with business requirements and performance objectives. You will be responsible for designing and documenting authorization controls and supporting a smooth transition to managed authorization operations. Roles and Responsibilities: -Define, implement, and manage the enterprise authorization framework and architecture using PlainID PBAC. -Design and configure fine-grained authorization policies, rules, and entitlements in PlainID. -Integrate PlainID with enterprise directories (Active Directory, LDAP) and IAM platforms. -Collaborate with business and application teams to define authorization requirements and translate them into dynamic PBAC policies. -Implement access management policies and enforce authorization across applications, APIs, and cloud services. -Configure and manage PlainID policy decision points (PDPs) and enforcement points (PEPs). -Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PlainID deployments, policy conflicts, and runtime decisions. -Collaborate with development teams to support REST API and JSON-based integrations. -Independently drive technical tasks and provide support during policy implementation phases. -Deliver technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition processes to managed security operations. Professional & Technical Skills: -Strong knowledge of PBAC, ABAC, and RBAC models. -Hands-on experience with PlainID configuration, policy design, and management. -Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and policy-as-code concepts for integration. -Experience integrating PlainID with Active Directory, LDAP, and IAM solutions. -Proficiency in authorization and access management standards (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, XACML). -Solid troubleshooting skills in policy authoring, entitlement conflicts, and runtime decisions. -Development experience with J2EE, Java, or JavaScript for policy integrations. -Ability to independently manage complex technical tasks and projects. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
