Job Purpose Summary:

The Marketing Technology Data Analyst leads the development and execution of marketing technology data strategies that align with the company’s goals and customer needs. He/she wil collaborate with teams across the organization from multiple business units to conduct exploratory data analysis, reporting, and data visualization to deliver actionable insights and provide recommendations to drive business decision-making.

Essential Job Functions / Accountabilities:

Collecting and Analyzing Data: Gathering data across various marketing platforms, cleaning it, and analyzing it to identify trends and insights.

Data Governance: Contribute to establishing and driving a Data Governance operating model to mature and apply data governance standards and best practices across the enterprise.

Translating Data into Insights: Engage with other Analytics teams to analyze performance of key business initiatives across content, engagement, and marketing domains. Converting complex data findings into understandable, non-technical language for stakeholders.

Building Data Models: Creating models to organize and manage important data for different teams within the organization.

Monitoring Data Quality: Constantly checking for data accuracy and integrity, and updating or cleansing data as needed.

Reporting: Generating business reports that convey analytics in a clear manner to assist in decision-making processes. Build and maintain operational dashboards in Tableau to understand performance over time, enable efficient exploratory analysis, and equip partners with self-serve tools.

Improving Decision-Making: Using data analysis to plan decision-making, enhance efficiency, and manage risks.

Enhancing Customer Experiences: Analyzing customer data to improve engagement and personalize marketing strategies.

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis for customer interactions and campaign effectiveness.
  • Gathering data across various marketing platforms, cleaning it, and analyzing it to identify trends and insights.
  • Converting complex data findings into understandable, non-technical language for stakeholders.
  • Creating models to organize and manage important data for different teams within the organization.
  • Constantly checking for data accuracy and integrity, and updating or cleansing data as needed.
  • Generating business reports that convey analytics in a clear manner to assist in decision-making processes.
  • Analyzing customer data to improve engagement and personalize marketing strategies.
  • Certifications in data analytics, marketing technology, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Customer Data Platforms.

Language:

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
