Frankfurt and Berlin are the preferred locations for this role but other German cities will also be considered.

The Role

euNetworks is seeking a skilled and experienced Product Manager to support the development and success of euNetworks’ Colocation and Edge products within the Infrastructure Products Team. You will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond. This role requires a combination of analysis, strategic thinking, project management skills and a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.

What will you be doing?

P&L Ownership:

  • Oversee the P&L of the colocation business

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise revenue growth and profitability within the colocation business.

  • Partner with sales and operations teams to forecast revenue, manage costs and identify cost-saving initiatives.

  • Create and operationalise processes as needed.

  • Drive the financial decision behind lease and energy negotiations with suppliers. 

Product strategy and planning:

  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research: analysing industry trends and identifying customer needs to inform the product strategy.

  • Support the Product Director to define the product vision, goals and roadmap based on customer feedback, business objectives and market opportunities.

  • Support the Product Director with short, medium and long-term operational planning and budgeting to enable sustainable revenue growth at high margin whilst increasing market share.

Product excellence:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Sales Engineering, Architecture & Engineering, Delivery and Marketing, to develop and translate product requirements into market leading solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand areas of the customer journey which develop customer loyalty and brand recognition. Use this insight to implement excellence in product delivery, performance, availability and customer experience.

Stakeholder management:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as executives, sales and customer support, to gather insights, address concerns and align product strategy with business objectives.

  • Where required, act as a primary point of contact for external stakeholders (including clients, partners, and vendors) to gather requirements, problem solve and manage relationships.

  • Run x-functional meetings to align on progress to plan, ways of working and other relevant operational topics.

Go-to-market and adoption:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning and marketing plans, to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback throughout the product life cycle and iterate on product features and strategies based on data-driven insights.

  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends, potential threats and opportunities for GTM differentiation.

Product evangelism:

  • Serve as a product expert and advocate both internally and externally, including representing the company during events and customer meetings.

  • Educate the Sales and Sales Engineering teams to support them in effectively communicating the value proposition and benefits of the product to customers and with out-of-the-box thinking to proactively meet customer needs.

Document review:

  • Work with the legal and procurement teams to review supplier agreements (e.g. leases, power supply and equipment), commercial agreements and customer contracts to mitigate commercial risks - in English and German. 

What do we want from you?

  • You are tech savvy and commercially minded

  • Experience in data centre operations and colocation.

  • Fluent English and German is essential, with ability to review, comment on and assist in contract drafting and negotiation in both languages.

  • Experience providing commercial and technical advice to sales and legal teams. 

  • Experience managing prices & contracts, negotiation and being able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders preferable.

  • Experience or strong interest in P&L management.

  • Experience or strong interest in developing product strategies, roadmap and GTM plans. 

  • Resourcefulness and a drive to learn.

  • A hunger to deliver tangible, sustainable business value.

  • A love of working with others.

  • An analytical brain and a gift for critical thinking.

  • A team mind-set and the ability to see challenges from other perspectives.

  • An ability to work with data and spreadsheets to evaluate options and create proposals of sound financial sense.
