We are searching for the best talent for Analyst, Materials Handling.

Purpose:

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Lead, the Materials Handling Analyst supports warehouse operational management in the activities of receiving, storage, picking, packing, material issuing, documentation, and support for local and international shipments. Contributes to maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and the execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Storage Practices. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and collaborates with the team to meet the area’s key performance indicators (KPIs).
The role focuses on the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of daily operations, ensuring the proper handling of Raw Materials (RM), Work in Process (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG), in alignment with regulatory requirements and Johnson & Johnson internal standards.

You will be responsible for:

In compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and Johnson & Johnson procedures, this role includes:

  • Receiving, Storage, and Distribution Operations
  • Receive RM, WIP, FG, and chemicals in accordance with SOPs and EHS guidelines.
  • Store materials in designated locations ensuring traceability and 5S order.
  • Prepare and issue materials to Manufacturing and other areas (picking/packing).
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stackers) in accordance with valid certifications.
  • Inventory Control and Data Accuracy
  • Execute cycle counts, record discrepancies, and support reconciliations.
  • Record transactions in the ERP/WMS system accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Inspect critical areas and equipment according to SOPs.
  • Support tracking of KPIs (inventory accuracy, productivity, cycle times).
  • Shipping and Distribution
  • Support the preparation of shipments for FG, RM, and WIP; verify shipping documentation.
  • Coordinate with 3PL and carriers for pickups and deliveries under established guidelines.
  • Meet preparation and dispatch times according to customer priorities.
  • Safety, Compliance, and Quality
  • Comply with Safety, Quality, and Good Storage Practice standards.
  • Handle hazardous materials in accordance with procedures and training.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness (5S) and report unsafe conditions (Near Miss, etc.).
  • Continuous Improvement and Optimization
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, standardization).
  • Suggest opportunities to simplify processes and reduce waste.
  • Support basic system/process testing and validations as required.
  • Collaboration and Development
  • Work closely with the team and support onboarding of new colleagues.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned with the team.
  • Operational and Administrative Management
  • Complete daily documentation and system transactions accurately.
  • Report deviations, incidents, or inventory issues in a timely manner.
  • Flexibly support other warehouse functions to ensure operational continuity.
  • Technical Knowledge and Skills
  • Practical knowledge of ERP/WMS (SAP/EWM, JDE, Oracle, or others) and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of SOPs, GMP, and basic handling of hazardous materials.
  • Safe operation of material handling equipment with valid certifications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and work accurately in dynamic environments
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications / Requirements:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • University bachelor's degree. in a field related to the position
  • 0–2 years of experience in Warehouse/Materials Handling in manufacturing or logistics environments.
  • Completed high school; technician or technologist in Logistics/Supply Chain desirable.
  • Experience with ERP/WMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in the medical/pharmaceutical sector desirable.
  • Valid PIV (forklift) certification.

Desirable

  • Basic training or courses in inventory, distribution, or transportation.
  • Experience operating under special regimes (e.g., Free Trade Zone) desirable.
  • Basic level of English (desirable).

  • Strong practical knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP/SAP EWM or similar (JDE, Oracle, WMS, IM, etc.).
