Job Summary 

As a Senior Data Engineer (19880), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.  

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud-native data and infrastructure solutions on AWS, ensuring security, performance, and cost efficiency
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes using Python and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices
• Optimize and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, continuous delivery, and high deployment reliability
• Monitor system performance, improve operational processes, and ensure high availability, resilience, and scalability across environments

Qualifications and Skills 

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, or Cloud Engineering roles within enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and related cloud-native tools
• Advanced proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and service integration
• Solid experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, networking concepts, and high-availability architectures
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools to ensure system reliability
• Experience implementing DevOps best practices including version control, code reviews, and automated testing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with the ability to work in Agile environments
