In this vital role you will be responsible for leading, architecting, designing, and implementing SAP Ariba and S/4HANA solutions with a focus on End-to-End Supply Chain processes. As the SAP Lead Solution Architect within our global Digital, Technology, and Innovation (DTI) team, this role will help to drive innovation and transformational change in the Supply Chain area to enhance the current Supply Chain Collaboration processes and drive efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide vision and be strategic in architecting and designing Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) capabilities

• Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into Functional and technical specifications

• Own SAP S/4HANA and Ariba SCC functional solution architecture, design, development, integration, and support the SCC capability roadmap

• Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver and sustain Amgen's Ariba’s ecosystem applying the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

• Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leading control practices

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of SAP experience in SAP Ariba and S/4 experience OR

• Master’s degree and 8 to 10 years of SAP experience in SAP Ariba and S/4 experience OR

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 to 14 years of SAP experience in SAP Ariba and S/4 experience OR

• Diploma and 14 to 18 years of SAP experience in SAP Ariba and S/4 experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

• Demonstrable understanding of Supply Chain and Source-to-Pay business processes

• Hands-on experience in architecting and configuring Ariba SCC solution capabilities but not limited to SAP Ariba Buying and invoicing, Cloud Integration gateway (CIG), SAP Business Network, connected to SAP Enterprise Central Component (ECC) and/or S/4HANA

• Experience in supporting Purchase orders, Confirmations, Ship notices, Supplier Labeling, Supplier Managed Inventory, invoices, etc.

• Ability to resolve complex issues across a distributed landscape of SAP and non-SAP technologies

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Contract Manufacturing and Sub-contracting processes

• Experience with Rapid Response and OneSource Tax

• Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

• Strong track record of mentoring junior technology talent

Professional Certifications:

• SAP Ariba SCC certification (preferred)

• SAP S/4HANA (preferred)

• PMP or similar project management certification (preferred)

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams

• High degree of initiative and self-motivation.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities optimally.

• Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals

• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

• Experience partnering with business leaders to drive strategic decisions
