Position Summary...

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

What you'll do:

  • Bringing curiosity and dedication to solving problems and delivering value for our users
  • Leveraging design best practices when creating user flows, mockups, prototypes, workshop documents, and hand-off files
  • Using various communication methods to convey data-driven design decisions, document design engagements, share information, and work towards alignment and mutual understanding
  • Defining vision and strategies for each project through domain expertise, internal and external best practices, and by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing design efforts, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership
  • Providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs
  • Building a team environment by collaborating closely within our team and cross-functionally with our partners across the business
  • Mentoring Associate Designers and Designers in UX/UI design methodology and principles as well as providing guidance on project-based design tasks


What you'll bring:

  • A product design portfolio that demonstrates how you design to solve Enterprise Problem / customer needs.
  • Prototyping, product/interaction/visual design/prototype through pencil on paper sketching and using tools such as Sketch, Invision, and Zeplin.
  • Stellar visual design skill (attention to detail, stay on brand, build new patterns).
  • Deep understanding of design principles and industry trends.
  • Ability to clearly present your work; articulate and can advocate design rationale.
  • Give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Experience partnering with cross functional teams in launching new products and improvements to existing ones.
  • Influencing others, leading teams, managing stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership, and communicating clearly.

Foundation UX design skills - User Research, Wireframing and Prototyping, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Visual Design, User Testing 

 

Data Literacy - Understanding Data Concepts, Data Visualization Principles, Data Analysis Tools 

 

Domain Specific Language - Understanding how web analytics tools work, Prior experience of working in Supply Chaining and Retail operations 

 

Technical Skills - understanding of how data analytical platforms track and analyze data, Knowledge on analytical platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI

Option 2: 4 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
