Primary Responsibilities:

The lead consultant leads all aspects of projects of medium-large size or complexity and takes responsibility for sections of projects of high-complexity. 

  • Proactively detects technical deficiencies and develops practical, workable solutions to problems.
  • Establishes reputation as a technical expert with varying industry knowledge.
  • Takes full responsibility for overall execution and delivery of critical tasks or projects
  • Helps team members, customers and stakeholders understand the connection between industry events/ trends and what is going on at Citrix.
  • Leads by example on all aspects of work.
  • Creates an environment where others feel it is safe to be open and candid, and where conflicting ideas and opinions are regularly discussed.
  • Conveys the Citrix vision in very real and relevant terms that others can identify with, helping others see how things will improve as the “future state” draws near.
  • Stays focused on department and Citrix strategic priorities and allocates their time and resources accordingly
  • Works with and through others to consistently break down barriers between departments.
  • Works actively on mentoring and team development with more junior team member

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficcent in English and German.

  • Ability, initiative and accountability to execute broad assignments requiring minimal direction

  • Excellent personal time management
  • Positive attitude aimed at customer success..
  • Must be flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
  • Strong work ethic, attitude and follow through ability.
  • Strong technical breadth across all Citrix products.
  • Solid listening skills. Can quickly digest information and respond in an accurate and concise manner. Has the ability to respond appropriately to complex questions.
  • Capable of planning and leading all aspects of medium to large scale projects.
  • Proficient in the aspects of project launch and closure.
  • Ability to act as technical expert
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor
  • Proactively seek ways to expand technical knowledge

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Current Citrix or 3rd party Certifications that demonstrate technical knowledge and non-technical areas such as Project Management & Governance are beneficial.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Senior Consultant or equivalent experience 
  • Positive customer service attitude.. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (professional/college affiliations) 
  • CCEA and MCSE/MCITP or CCNA certifications preferred

Physical Demands / Work Environment

The lead consultant is directly mapped to a specific region or area but may also provide coverage for other regions or areas within the Geo.

The role allows for working from home however travel maybe required either to customer or partner sites, events or Citrix offices and can be as high as 15%.
