Associate Project Manager, Project & Development Services

What this job involves:

As an Associate Project Manager within JLL's Project & Development Services team, you'll play a vital role in delivering successful construction and renovation projects for our diverse client base. You'll support senior project managers in overseeing all phases of project execution, from initial planning through closeout, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role places you at the center of collaboration between clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders as you coordinate schedules, track budgets, and solve problems in real time. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Assist in managing construction and tenant improvement projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project requirements
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to maintain project schedules and resolve issues that arise during construction
  • Monitor project budgets and track expenses, reviewing contractor invoices and change orders to ensure cost control and accuracy
  • Conduct regular site visits to observe construction progress, verify quality standards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation including meeting minutes, progress reports, RFIs, submittals, and status updates to stakeholders
  • Support the procurement process by soliciting bids, reviewing proposals, and assisting with contractor selection and contract negotiations
  • Maintain project management software systems with current schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure information accessibility across the team
  • Facilitate communication between all project parties to anticipate challenges, address concerns proactively, and keep projects moving forward efficiently

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, building systems, and project delivery processes
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams
  • Basic understanding of construction documents including drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in fast-paced environments

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with corporate interiors, tenant improvement, or commercial office projects
  • Familiarity with building codes, ADA requirements, and OSHA safety standards
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and MEP drawings

Estimated compensation for this position:

73,000.00 – 90,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
