JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Smeal College of Business Marketing Department is seeking applicants for part-time teaching assistants for BA 815 with Dr. Liechty.

Job duties to include:

  • The teaching assistant will be responsible for two sections of BA 815, holding recitation sessions and attending a few class
  • Checking homework and quizzes; working through class projects
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervising instructor

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

  • Academic integrity and the ability to maintain student confidentiality is required, as well as a solid foundation in statistics
  • Candidates should have good communication and interpersonal skills, be reliable and organized, and have good time management skills
  • Knowledge of business statistics
  • Preferred candidates are current graduate students

Schedule:

  • Approximately 10 hours of work per week during the fall 2026 semester
  • This course is in mod 2 / second half of fall semester, however prep work will need to be completed before the course.
