Job Description:

This is a regional business management role within the Retail Wealth Distribution team, who will work closely with local sales teams across Asia and cross-functional teams within Manulife Investment Management (MIM) as well as counterparts at Manulife Insurance (Lifecos).

Primary responsibilities include computing HK SIP / SIC (Sales Incentive Plan and Sales Incentive Commission) and supporting Asia retail sales incentive-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compute monthly SIC and quarterly SIP including bonuses related to tactical sales campaigns, ensuring outputs are timely, accurate, and duly approved before payroll processing
  • Report sales campaign results (costs vs benefits, conversion rate, etc) and provide analytical insights
  • Validate compensation (commissions, trailer fee, and PC) and production status of licensed representatives
  • Work closely with sales teams as well as HR, Rewards, Finance, and Risk to ensure alignment of policies based on regional framework and proper administration across markets
  • Maintain up-to-date SIP policies and approval records across Asia
  • Maintain up-to-date distribution agreements and trailer fee rates across Asia
  • Support the regular review and revamp of sales incentive/ compensation schemes as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of management reporting or sales reporting experience in the Asia asset management or financial services business
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation) and willingness to report on Day shift schedule

Skills to Hire/ Must Haves:

  • Hands-on experience with Excel and PowerPoint, demonstrating strong analytical and presentation skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that model Manulife corporate core values
  • A capacity for constant learning from both success and failure
  • Fluent English (reading/writing/spoken)
