Your role at Baxter:

As a core member of the Operational Excellence team, you will drive OPEX deployment at the plant. This individual should be a strong team player with highly developed communication and presentation skills. This position reports to the plant manager with dotted reporting to the GBU/Region OPEX Lead.

This position calls for individual contributions following company policies and involves delivering the operational efficiency strategy to ensure successful implementation. This person is accountable for the coordination and mentorship of the OPEX Teamwork performance. The position requires initiative and engagement to implement its duties.

What you'll be doing:

Take charge of driving the OPEX program at the site

2- Work closely with the site management to assist the site in their continuous improvement journey

3- Develop a site level OPEX deployment plan including BOS(Baxter Operating system), VIP, Certification Programs, Best Practices Sharing, ICare and others.

4- Assists leadership in establishing baseline and target metrics for key processes.

5- Work with site leadership in installing interpersonal supports for Operational excellence (reviews, communications, rewards, etc.)

6- Coach and mentor site Black Belt and Green Belt candidates to ensure timely completion of their quality and/or cost focused projects- ultimately leading to the candidate’s certification.

What You'll Bring!

• BS/BA degree or similar qualification in Business Management, Engineering, or another relevant field of study. MBA, MS, technical graduate degree or equivalent experience is helpful.
• 10+ years of working experience in manufacturing companies.
• 5+ years of experience leading people.
• Must have working knowledge and understanding of Continuous Process Improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Black Belt or Lean Training/Certification required
