JOB SUMMARY
This is a 90-day task order assignment.
The Security Officer Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing the security operations during a designated shift, ensuring the safety and security of the organization’s premises, employees, and assets. This role involves supervising a team of security officers, ensuring all security protocols are followed, and responding to incidents or emergencies as they arise. The Security Officer Shift Lead will serve as the primary point of contact for security-related concerns during their shift, providing leadership, direction, and support to team members while maintaining a high level of professionalism and alertness. Key responsibilities include managing security staff schedules, conducting routine patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, enforcing security policies, and providing guidance on emergency response procedures. The Shift Lead will be expected to maintain clear communication with management regarding any security issues, incidents, or safety concerns that arise during their shift. The Security Officer Shift Lead plays a critical role in ensuring a safe and secure environment and may assist with training and mentoring junior security officers as needed.
