Join WA’s Leading Crane & Rigging Supervisor Team

Freo Group is currently seeking experienced Supervisors to join our team on an Iron Ore site in the Mid-West. This is an immediate start FIFO role from Perth, operating on an attractive 8:6 / 7:7 rotating roster.

This role offers the opportunity to lead critical lifting and rigging activities in a high-performing, safety-focused environment, while working alongside professionals who take pride in doing the job the right way.

Key Responsibilities

• Report all complaints, incidents and accidents immediately and initiate reporting in line with company policies and procedures

• Disseminate relevant OHS information to workers, aligned to site-specific hazards

• Ensure a responsive, professional service is consistently delivered to our customer

• Schedule time for the completion of training and other OHS-related tasks

• Complete JSA’s / Hazard Control forms and forward to management

• Provide ongoing liaison and technical advice on lifting and rigging activities

• Understand the EBA and ensure compliance with the agreement

• Ensure subcontractors are inducted, suitably qualified and compliant with all aspects of the Freo Group Safety Management Plan

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in mining or construction (ideally crane/rigging focused)

• Current National Police Clearance (within 12 months) or willingness to obtain

• Valid Driver’s Licence

• High Risk Work Licence with Rigging (RB/RI) or Crane (CN/CO) qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen

• Completion of S26 Training and Examination through WorkSafe

Mandatory Requirements

• Must be based in WA (FIFO from Perth)

• Available to commence the onboarding process immediately
