Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a System Admin - Linux/Wintel. As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for administer, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows Server systems in physical, virtual, and cloud settings.

Qualifications

• +5 years of experience in administration of both Linux and Windows Server operating systems in enterprise environments.

• Advanced knowledge in managing Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and upcoming 2025 versions.

• Proficient in Linux distributions including SUSE, Red Hat, CentOS, Oracle Linux, and Solaris.

• Strong experience in Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, trust relationships, and internal certificate management.

• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Satellite, SUSE Manager, Oracle Linux Manager, and patching solutions.

• Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

• Solid understanding of virtualization technologies including VMware (ESXi, SRM, NSX, vRealize), Oracle VM, and Hyper-V.

• Experience with Citrix solutions including XenDesktop and XenApp.

• Familiar with storage and backup technologies in hybrid and cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS).

• Fluent in Portuguese, with advanced technical English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex Windows-based solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.

• Administer, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows Server systems in physical, virtual, and cloud settings.

• Enforce and manage OS-level security policies, updates, and patches.

• Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages and system management tools such as SCCM, Red Hat Satellite, and OSMH.

• Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning and analysis.

• Participate in server migration, virtualization, and consolidation projects.

• Document technical procedures and produce status and capacity reports.

Nice to Have

• Experience in hybrid cloud deployments and infrastructure as code.

• Familiarity with advanced backup strategies and enterprise storage integration.

• Understanding of compliance standards and security hardening practices.

• Relevant certifications desired: RHCE, LPIC-2/3, MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Server+.

• Intermediate to advanced Spanish.
