About the role:

The Tech Products Communications and Project Manager role is a crucial one in our D&T CGA team, as we work to amplify our Ahead Together Tech content and our culture. The successful candidate will help deploy our Tech Products communications successfully to the enterprise and support the team with milestones coordination, backed by strong communications using our Tech messaging platform and outcome-based, asset-level proof points.

Key to this role will be effective collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders and communications colleagues across D&T and GSK. The successful candidate will be agile and skilled at stakeholder management, strategic internal engagement and programme management. You will own the planning of D&T product operations communications, which requires a combination of brilliant communications capabilities, business understanding and seamless project management. Additionally, you will flex across different projects depending on the business needs and your own development needs, managing  the comprehensive communications flow for internal audiences around key initiatives that align with business priorities, as well as internal channels and related processes.

This role will work closely with the Head of Internal comms, CWs in the team and broader CGA team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • deploy our Tech Products communications successfully to the enterprise and support the team with milestones coordination, backed by strong communications using our Tech messaging platform and outcome-based, asset-level proof points

  • You will report to me and be accountable to the Head of Internal Communications, Digital and Tech, while working in close partnership with key Tech teams and broader CGA team

  • Mapping Tech Products milestones and coordinating plans for effective enterprise communications

  • Content creation - e.g., drafting accessible and inclusive messaging, facilitating the stakeholder review/approval process, working with the rest of the team to produce and deliver engaging content and maintaining relevant intranet and other team resources, as required

  • Implementation - e.g., working with the digital and campaigns teams to communicate via global internal channels, managing broadcasts/events, monitoring engagement and uptake

  • Proactively looking for new, innovative and creative approaches to communications that drive effectiveness and impact

  • Manage the implementation and tracking of key projects to support business objectives, against budgets, deadlines and reporting progress and outcomes, as well as day-to-day oversight of any internal communications vendors/agencies

  • Coordinate core team activities including regular team meetings, broader updates to internal comms partners and trackers/tools for project oversight

  • Support other projects as needed (like THs, digital fluency plan, new internal newsletter).

  • Be a guardian of our Tech messaging, ensuring consistent delivery, evolving it as necessary and enabling our teams l to deliver consistent tech messaging with passion, including helping identify new proof points.

  • 2025 Priorities are to: Set up smooth enterprise for Tech Product comms and clear project management support for key deliverables for the team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of internal comms experience, with 2 of those years understanding key technical content or Tech projects and how to engage broad audiences

  • Experience in strategic planning and developing content across a range of platforms and media and willingness to innovate. Ability to synthesize complex information quickly into understandable and relatable messages.

  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills, ability to build networks quickly and form partnerships.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, story-telling skills and cultural awareness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to synthesize complex information quickly into understandable and relatable messages.

  • Attention-to detail and grammar is extremely important.

  • Executive presence and ability to counsel senior leaders with confidence.

  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and be able to deal with ambiguity and handle sensitive situations.
