Summary: Understanding of the Kafka architecture and internals of how it works, along with the interplay of architectural components: brokers, Zookeeper, producers/consumers, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams. Roles & Responsibilities: - Knowledge of the Kafka Connect framework. - Experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL databases. - Excellent knowledge of Java, J2EE, spring framework. - Excellent knowledge of spring boot, spring and hibernate platform. - Good to have knowledge of HTML5, CSS & JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS and Angular 5/8), CSS frameworks. - Excellent knowledge of web servers (Apache), testing & debugging e2e. - Excellent knowledge of Webservices (REST), messaging (JMS/MQ), database (Oracle/MySQL etc), batch processing, security concepts, application servers (Tomcat/Wildfly etc), testing & debugging e2e. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Apache Kafka. - Good To Have Skills: Java Full Stack Development, Spring Framework, PostgreSQL. - Understanding of the Kafka architecture and internals of how it works, along with the interplay of architectural components: brokers, Zookeeper, producers/consumers, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Apache Kafka. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Mumbai office.
