Reports to Finance Manager

Location: EL Jadida Site – Morocco

The Finance & Control Analyst role and suited to a driven business-oriented professional looking to take the next step. The candidate must be a self-starter with a clear sense of initiative, direction and accountability. S/he will be able to work effectively under pressure and will work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities, risks and support decision making.

The Finance & Control Analyst will support local Finance and Leadership team by providing accurate and relevant Financial Data. The candidate will coordinate / lead the planning, reporting and analysis process and will provide high-quality financial information and insights, contributing towards the success of Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) whilst always upholding our values of integrity.

Other Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform month end closing activities in collaboration with site stakeholders and shared services centers;

  • Budget and Quarterly forecast establishment in collaboration with Finance and Leadership teams;

  • Perform monthly analysis of the Balance Sheet and P&L items. Highlight and explain main variances and implement corrective an preventive action plans;

  • Timely Perform periodic and regular internal controls as per guidelines and SOPs, define actions to mitigate risks and ensure full compliance;

  • Perform costing activities for the locally manufactured SKUs;

  • Collaborate with Internal and External Auditors during their assignment;

  • Provide ad hoc periodic reporting, and carry-out ad hoc tasks, as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor (Accounting/ Finance/ Economics/ Business or Analytical emphasis).

  • 2-3 years management accounting / finance experience, preferably Pharma / Manufacturing.

  • Any professional qualification (CIMA, CA, CPA, ACCA, etc) is advantageous

  • Advanced computer literacy with working knowledge of financial accounting software / ERPs

  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Powerpoint & Word.

  • Able to multi-task and prioritise work due to being adaptable, organised, and a careful planner

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, preferably with a background in data analysis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable communicating with all levels.

  • Ambitious; desire to learn and develop with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Orientation towards teams’ goals and stakeholder needs; collaborative and flexible workstyle.

  • Must be able to work effectively in a global and multi-cultural environment.
