Bowdon Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and organized Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our vibrant, multi-doctor veterinary practice. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hospital operations, ensuring efficiency, excellent client service, and a positive team culture

• Partner with veterinarians and team leads to manage schedules, workflows, and staffing needs

• Monitor and analyze KPIs, including revenue, client satisfaction, and staff productivity

• Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and cost control

• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and veterinary regulations

• Support HR functions: recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee engagement

• Lead regular team meetings and foster clear communication across the hospital

• Collaborate on marketing and community outreach efforts

• Utilize practice management software (e.g., Cornerstone, AVImark, or similar) to track operations and reporting

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary management or equivalent leadership experience in a medical/clinical setting

• Strong leadership and team-building skills

• Proficiency in practice management systems and basic accounting/reporting

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Passion for veterinary medicine and supporting a healthy, happy clinic culture

• CVPM certification a plus (not required)
