Responsibilities:

The SCM Purchasing Professional is responsible for leading the critical procurement process activities and the execution of routine tasks in supply chain management (SCM) environment (i.e. replenishment of packaging material, carrier organization). Ensures the data integrity in procurement systems prior to product launch by communication and coordination of various functions within the Supply Chain Department and externally.  The position has a local focus, but also sometimes regional, with dedicated group of counterparts within DMH and Freudenberg Sealing Technologies.

  • Manage the purchase order process by sourcing approved goods/services from nominated vendors

  • Manages inventory of specific raw materials and determine appropriate replenishment schedules

  • Enter the local site’s bills/expenses for approval

  • Communicates and cultivates relationships with suppliers

  • Develops, improves, standardizes and implements documents

  • Maintains data integrity in all systems

  • Updates and maintains purchase order information in Customer Resource Management system (QuickBooks and SAP)

  • Purchasing for Production component ordering

  • Coordinates with Warehouse to identify space requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience

  • 3 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.

  • 1 or more years of experience in purchasing or procurement

  • Professional-Level English language skills preferred

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • QuickBooks Experience

  • Microsoft Office programs including Excel

  • SAP ERP system experience is a nice to have, but not required

  • Hourly Rate: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour (final offer within
    this range based on skills, experience, and internal
    equity)
