More about the role


We’re looking for an intern to join our digital research team in Eindhoven to support the development of 3D-printed tools for prototyping our luminaire components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of 3D metal print process by testing the settings of the metal powder flow characteristics. Goal is to understand the basic principles of the flow and test the sensitivity of different settings possible with this flow on the overall 3D print result. 
  • Gain hands-on experience in additive manufacturing techniques, material selection, and process optimization.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to troubleshoot and improve existing designs.
  • Conduct research on innovative materials and technologies for 3D printing applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Masters degree in industrial design, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to cutting-edge projects.
