Are you a high-energy Sales Professional with strong sales skills, business acumen, and solid technical aptitude? Do you have experience in SaaS sales?

Join us as an Account Manager in our Mid-Market sales team in the Netherlands!

What You Will Do

In this position, you will focus on selling our Construction Management Software ProjectSight e.g. to the construction companies and contractors. You will discover customer needs, uncover pain points and demonstrate how specific Trimble products can address their critical business needs. You will manage an existing portfolio of clients but also be responsible for growing our market share in the wider Construction Technology market in the Netherlands.

We have market-leading products in these areas and you will be supported by teams of Sales Development Representatives, as well as a team of Sales Engineers and other colleagues.

We will provide you with all of the tools and support to be successful in this position but to be successful, you will also need to leverage your deep understanding of SaaS sales and your ability to build and maintain strong relationships to achieve sales targets and contribute to Trimble’s success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with existing accounts and manage upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Identify and qualify potential new customers in the area
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organisations
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to showcase the value of Trimble ProjecSight
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position Trimble's solutions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM software Salesforce

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Some years of experience in SaaS sales, both new logo and existing accounts
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships  across all levels of organizations
  • Self-motivated, result-driven, and ability to work independently
  • Fluent Dutch and good English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in using CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the Netherlands as needed (apprx. couple of days per week)

Desirable Skills & Experience You Could Bring

  • Formal sales training, knowledge and understanding of Challenger sales model or similar
  • Knowledge of digital construction sector / construction workflows / construction project management
