Te Tūranga – About the role
A visionary technology leader, you’ll lead enterprise architecture, technology guardrails, and governance that accelerates delivery for Foodies. Influencing decisions at the highest level, you’ll unlock the value of a talented team and set the direction for data and AI governance.
A member of the IT Management Team you’ll share collective responsibility for overall performance, cohesion, engagement and collaborative impact for the FSNI IT team
In this pivotal role, you’ll:
· Lead with impact and provide thought leadership to inspire and unlock the full potential of a highly skilled team.
· Influence and work closely with the Executive team and senior stakeholders to drive strategic decisions and investment priorities.
· Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards and roadmaps across business, data, application, and technology domains.
· Champion governance and innovation by establishing the Enterprise Design Authority and Data & AI Governance forums, ensuring robust guardrails that accelerate delivery while reducing risk.
· Shape the future of AI and data at Foodies.
He kōrero mōu - About you
You’ll be an authentic thought leader with:
· Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, grow, and manage a highly technical team.
· Depth in enterprise and domain architecture, with pragmatic governance (TOGAF or equivalent).
· Hands-on experience in data architecture, analytics platforms, and familiarity with AI/ML lifecycle and model governance.
· Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen, able to translate strategy into actionable guardrails.
· Exceptional stakeholder influence and communication skills, comfortable presenting to Exec and Board level.
