Manages the overall logistics of one or more categories and owns performance metrics to meet the operational needs of logistics function. Monitors key metrics and implements best practices to ensure that all operational activities adhere to laws, guidelines, and Intel's standard requirements. Reports progress against agreed schedule, scope, cost, and quality constraints to senior leaders on a regular basis. Manages suppliers for the storage or movement of inbound, interplant, and outbound material, equipment, and finished goods. Monitors and benchmarks supplier services against the service level agreement. Guides the suppliers to evolve their service levels in line with Intel requirements. Gathers data on existing processes from partners, stakeholders, customers and analyzes it to discover areas of defects, inefficiencies, or escalations. Tracks and resolves shipping, warehouse, and carrier shipping errors, as well as logistics exceptions. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to assure the most efficient delivery of products to customers. Utilizes analytical and advanced technology skills to develop logistics solutions that drive Intel's business execution optimally. Builds solid relationships with crossfunctional teams and logistics service providers, ensuring smooth process flow and collaboration. Manages critical escalations arising in the logistics network such that there is minimal impact on customer service.
This Individual Contributor role resides in Front End Logistics (FEL) team within Intel's Global Logistics Organization, GLO. GLO provides end to end logistics services for all Intel business units across the supply chain from factory to end customer logistics. GLO directly enables Intel's strategy through its logistics assets placed in strategic locations across the globe. The FEL team is looking for a Logistics Operations Manager, based in Hillsboro, Oregon, to manage transportation, shipping and logistics operations for multiple critical commodities wafer, die, non-finished goods, new product support etc. This position will primarily be responsible for all logistics functions for Technology Development teams, multiple manufacturing locations based in Oregon and California campuses as well as support multiple cross supply chain initiatives across the different sites. In partnership with the logistics suppliers and Intel teams, this role will manage day to day logistics and shipping operations, deliver cost savings, process optimizations, enable new work models for supporting Intel's strategy.
Key deliverables of this position will include management of logistics performance as measured by On Time Delivery, Quality of service, Cost savings, proactive and customized logistics solutions for evolving Intel needs.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $91,060.00-180,820.00 USD

Work Model for this Role
