Mission Statement:

Manufacturing Production manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including: Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources. Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Benchmark and implement best manufacturing practices across kit centers.

  • Standardize manufacturing processes to ensure accuracy and optimization. 

  • Standardize processes, Control and monitor it towards usage of cutting tools in production

  • Manage and control the process for issuance of new tools and disposal of used/worn out tools

  • For new products prepare and control the CAPEX budgets, prepare the detailed plan for industrialization of the product and drive the project execution by collaboration with other teams.

  • Work closely with the production, Marketing, planning, Purchase and Maintenance for finalizing techno commercial discussions for new CAPEX requirements to ensure timely spend.

  • Innovate, suggest and implement all engineering changes in the plant.

  • Support all new product developments and entities with technical and process expertise.

  • Ensure horizontal development and lean manufacturing practices are implemented across product lines.

  • Collaborate with production and sales for optimum consumption of material against production orders.

  • Work with finance team for make/buy product decisions.

Your Background:

  • B Tech/BE in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

  • 5 to 8 years of experience or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 12 to 15 years of experience in relevant field.

  • Expert knowledge of tools and related technology

  • Strong background of engineering and manufacturing processes. Strong planning and execution skills

  • Ability to influence without authority across departments and management levels.

  • Excellent analytical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods

  • Great attention to detail and results driven approach.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

  • Reliable and Trustworthy.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
