In this role, you will help to develop the assigned Manufactured Raw Materials E2E Supply Chain configuration, define the E2E network and Net Requirements, align Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Inventory plans towards agreed inventory targets, You will lead and/or contributed to the management of E2E short term exceptions. These planning processes ultimately serve as an input into the S&OP / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. This is an excellent opportunity for future career growth.
The Global Supply Network Planner Lead is responsible for the assigned portfolio’s network planning processes, delivering accurate net requirements to internal suppliers, managing service levels to our manufacturing sites/customers while driving inventories to entitlement levels.
Responsible for driving planning processes continuous improvements in this area. You will provide guidance on demand and supply planning processes and systems set up that drives cost-effective stock availability.
Responsible for identifying drivers of key performance metrics and action plans to meet / exceed business targets.
Leads Net Requirements generation, consolidation and Demand hand over across the different Production planning teams, as key input for Site Supply Review to ensure correct future supply, and financial plans.
Responsible for ensuring accurate planning signal will look after the necessary network set up, audit data accuracy and drive the necessary resolution.
Responsible for developing scenarios and proposing resolutions in response to early warnings and challenges, balancing Inventory, plant capacities and customer service needs.
Leads and/or collaborates in the resolution of STEM and End-to-end issues across different finished goods value streams, sites and where needles & wires are key contributing factor.
Partners with project leads in the development or implementation of Network and new product introduction projects.
Maintains and develops tools to analyze and review possible misalignments between Demand, Capacity, and projects with relevant teams to address and close gaps.
Responsible for cross functional collaborating, cross-finishing sites and value streams to ensure alignment on strategic priorities.
Proactively Identifies and raises supply vulnerabilities to senior management result from demand or supply variation.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
Actively partners and support from an end-to-end planning point of view to the assigned value stream.
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Metrics: Service level, Plan Attainment, Inventory/DOS, stock-out avoidance
This function works closely with various partners including other SNP roles, Supply Planning Managers, Production planning and logistics managers and peers, Value Stream Leaders (VSLs), Network and NPI project teams, Operations, Finance, and Procurement.
Education:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
A minimum of 5 in a supply chain role involving Manufacturing, supply planning, master production scheduling, production planning, demand planning, Supply chain Projects management, purchasing or logistics.
Required:
Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Logistics experience in the Health Care Industry or related industries is strongly preferred.
Understanding of end of end supply chain interactions and interdependencies.
Strategic vision on planning processes and inventory management.
Ability to work across organizational boundaries through influence, negotiation and partnering in a global environment.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist
Supply Chain certification is preferred e.g. APICS
Confirmed experience with several of the following processes: inventory management, S&OP/IBP, process excellence (Lean, 6sigma), FOX
Strong communication, analytical and quantitative skills
