About the Role:

Under the supervision of the Senior Manager Reconciliation, the Business Intelligence Analyst will perform analysis of data in various formats to derive business insights and intelligence that drive business decision making. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the US with manager's approval.

You Will:

• Apply statistical methods to convert raw data into business insights that enhance reporting, dashboards, and metrics, transforming and optimizing existing data and systems capabilities. 

• Develop and maintain data-rich reports, data visualizations, and tools to support data analysis and produce key business insights. 

• Create models to identify transaction behavior, mitigate financial losses, and forecast business opportunities. 

• Write queries and scripts to assess data quality and flag issues.

You Have:

• Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 2 years of experience with data management, data analysis, statistical modeling, and analytical reporting that derives business insights from business intelligence.

• 2 years with analyzing large volumes of data with complex datasets.

• 2 years writing ETL jobs using Scala and Spark in Azkaban and Airflow.

• 2 years with data mining, database systems, data warehouse design, and data visualization tools, including Tableau and PowerBI.

• 2 years applying AWS services, including Redshift, S3, and Virtual Machines.

• 2 years with applying Azure services, including Databricks, Key Vault, Virtual Machines, data migration, and cloud watch.

• 2 years with C#, Excel EDA, Git, HTML, Oracle SQL Developer, Python, SQL, SQL Server, VBA, and version control systems. 

• 1 year developing and implementing machine learning models, including with linear regression, logistic regression, and Random Forest.

• 1 year applying A/B testing methodologies.

• 1 year employing clustering techniques for data analysis.

• 1 year with AWS Lambda and Azure Functions cloud services.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $128,000 - $160,000 per year. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
